Sixth Sunday of Easter 2007
Today
is Remembrance Sunday, when we think about and give thanks to all the
brave men and women who died to save our country.

Every
day, in silence, we remember those whom we loved, to whom we have said
a last goodbye.
As we remember them today, we make an enormous poppy, which we take into
church.
We also carry the Cross, decorated with poppies, for those who die in
wars and fighting. We honour them and all who give their lives in other
ways for peace.
We join our sadness to Jesus's suffering on the Cross. |
