Children’s Liturgy 4th Sunday in Easter April 25th
| The
Good Shepherd cares for his flock |

Jesus said: “My sheep hear my
voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and
they shall never perish.
No one can take them out of my hand.
My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all,
and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand.
The Father and I are one.”

| In Liturgy today we have talked about what
Jesus meant when he referred to himself as a Good Shepherd. We have
talked about the characteristics of a Good Shepherd, always looking
out for the safety and well being of their sheep, always prepared to
rescue and protect their sheep.
We had fun playing a sheep and shepherd game.
We can think of ourselves as one of a flock of sheep, with Jesus our
Good Shepherd, our omnipotent leader, protector and guide.
