Today
it is one year ago that Pope John Paul died.
He said 'We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song' to remind us
that the most important thing we believe is that Jesus died for us on
the cross and rose again. This helps us to understand how to think of
the whole of our lives, because it tells us we are loved and makes us
joyful. God gives us new life and love we can spread to other people.

Today
Frankie was in Rome. He saw that lots of people came there to say prayers
for Pope John Paul, especially people from Poland, who were proud that
Pope John Paul the second was Polish. On April 3rd, Pope Benedict said
a special mass in St. Peter's square for Pope John Paul. |
