| In
our liturgy today, we heard that the writer of the book of Genesis imagines
how, on the sixth day, God made all of the animals, wild and tame, small
and large. |
|
 |
|
| He
also makes human beings, a man and a woman. In the book of Genesis, he
puts them in charge of the fish, wild birds and animals and tells them
to look after them. |

|
God
created our wonderful world and we need to take care of it.
All things bright and beautiful;
All creatures great and small;
All things wise and wonderful;
The Lord God made them all.
Now we prepare for Easter, when God sends Jesus to make a new beginning
for us, by dying on the Cross, to show how much God loves us, and by rising
again, on the third day.
Jesus is our Second Creation. |
