Today in our liturgy, we have talked about people who help us in times
of need, as we make our journey through life.
This
reminded us of a famous story called 'FOOTSTEPS'.
One
night, a man had a dream. He dreamt he was walking along a beach with
the Lord.
Scenes
from his life flashed across the sky.
He noticed two sets of footprints, one belonging to him and one to the
Lord.
At difficult times in his life, he noticed only one set of footprints.
This bothered him and he asked the Lord why this was.
The Lord replied, "I love you and would never leave you. At the most
difficult times of your life, it was then that I carried you."
We
have made our own footsteps, which show times when we put our trust
in God, family and friends.
